This is really odd. I bought my 2002 used and the original tires have been replaced with some garbage tires. From what I understand the original tires on a 2002 were garbage.
I looked in the trunk and my spare, surprisingly enough, is a Michelin tire. My question is, what is your spare tire? Is it a Michelin? Why is the spare a nicer tire?
Lets say I got three Michey Energy's that need to be replaced soon. One of the Michey's are new on the car as well as my spare is a Full size Michey Energy. Probably going to use my spare soon, so ill only have to buy two new ones. And throw one of my old tires, in my spare tire compartment, just in case of an emergency ever happens
Didn't the gen 5 SE come with Michelins? Anyway. I have a Bridgestone Potenza RE92..just like my stock tires. My mom has a Dunlop 6000 (?) - though after 11 years, not sure if there's any air in it - the gen 3.5 V6 came with good tires..they lasted long.

Mine is a 04 SE that comes with Michelin Energy MXV (16inches) . I have no spare tire at the back now coz I have already been using it for over a year. I broke 2 tires . I used to think Michelin manufactures top grade tires, but the MXV is not that great in traction in my opinion.
The spare in my car was the same one as the others. General HP400S in 205/65R15. As a spare tire, it's fine, but when the other 4 tires were still on the car, I couldn't wait to get rid of them.
