Gen5 False hp numbers

Toyota has given out false horsepower numbers for the V6 in the camry. the camry for 2006 only has 190hp in the highlander has 215. click the link and watch cat tv video.

THis is old news. It is not that they are false it is more the standards were changed. The old standards were very lax and the manufacturers used that to their advantage when posting HP numbers. The japanese manufacturers, especially Toyota and Honda were hit the hardest by the new standards. Besides who buys a Camry for HP. The percentage of V6 Camrys sold is so low compared ot the overall number it doesnt really matter anyway if you ask me.

who says it wont happen. However I cant See toyota doing with the Camry or any other Toyota for that matter like they are with the Lexus line. LExus hybrids are more for perfomance than they are for economy. Youjsut so happen to get a more efficient car when you go with the Lexus Hybrid. Even then it is not so much about economy as it is emissions.
