4th Generation Help - window motor acting up!

When I go to roll the window up sometimes, it goes VERY slow, only for maybe an inch (sounds like the motor is not getting enough power, sounds 'sluggish')

Any idea what is going on? Is this a common issue?

you may need a new window regulator. but try this first...
the window travels up and down on rails and they can collect dirt over time. a simple cleaning may improve things.

& read this post, theres some good info on page#2 --> Does your passenger window roll up slow too?

yes pretty common, you may want to take your door panel off and make sure your window is properly fastened to the regulator, because if it is loose and you keep using it, it will bend your regulator and may break the brackets off the window which would cause you to have to buy a new window and a regulator. Or your regulator may be bent regaurdless of whether or not the window is tight and it will still break the brackets. It could also be your motor but they usually stop going up about midway and then you have to wait and let it cool to roll it up the rest of the way.
