I was just told that I could get a new car and am coming to you guys for some advice. I test drove a 00 civic si and a 03 civic si yesterday and both i like, especially the 00, cause of the 8 grand redline but anywho, i was wondering what you guys would recommend my limit is about 17 grand or so, and i'm also trading in my 98 camry with mods also so i might be able to raise that 17 grand limit to around 20. Just wondering what you guys recommend, thanks for the help!
i'll be selling my clear corners, and possibly my Injen Intake w/cleaning kit, not for sure yet, i'll keep this updated! the other stuff will transfer into the Si.
: on the honda civic. Much much too common. Get a 2003 mazdaspeed protege. Tons of nice extras included and turbocharged power. Plus they are so rare, you might drive around all year and never see another one. I saw one on autotrader for about $19,000.
If that doesn't work, I say get a neon SRT. 0 to 60 in under 6 sec. Yeah, yeah, I know its till a neon but that is one ill @ss car.
i say you go with my all time favorite: mitsu 3000gt vr-4. "think outside of the box!" cmon you cant argue with twin turbo awd. dont forget 13.5 stock. not too shabby eh? awd...smokeless takeoffs...oh yeah...i think i soiled myself!

THey are heavy pigs, if you go all out, the tranny breakes around 500rwhp and theres nothing you can do to fix that problem.....but replace it with a stock one....lol, i live in Maryland AltredAthmosphere is the home of the fastest street stealth/3000gt....its a heavy near 4000lbs money pit,
just my opinion....
i would defanatly stear away from hondas, Have you driven the GTS celica? what about trying to find a 3rd gen V6 Se? Or you could probably pick up a 5th gen SE v6
I like the 2000 Civics better that the newer ones, they look more aggressive and they're roomier.. Plus from experience, it's so much labour to do any kind of stereo installation or wiring work on the 2003 Coupes since you have to basically remove the whole interior including the rear seats and side panels just to change the rear speakers for example...

Once again, may I recommend the Mazdaspeed protege. Forget a civic, everybody and their momma has a civic. Only 2000 of the protege were made and in every test I have seen It has outhandled and posted better numbers than just about every car out there. Plus it is quicker than the civic, 0 to 60 in 6.9 sec has an aftermaket sound system with subwoofer, racing beat performance part and a TURBO. More power is just a boost controller away. Here is some info on it : http://www.modernracer.com/history/m...gehistory.html and here is a pic.
sellin a toyota to get a honda? thats weak sauce if i ever heard it, im thouroughly dissapointed, how bout u just go get a Ford or somthin, thad be just as cool
