4th Generation My first camry fix up

hi all(im a newbie here), i just decided to fix up my 99 camry that i've owned for 6 years. I got really bored with the stock look and i wanted to give it a more satisfying appearance(mostly going for the looks part of my car). so here is the list of parts and accesories i made to plan on putting on the camry. I'd like to know ur guys' opinions if ya dont mine

This list is going by order: (by the way my car color is a flint mica grayish type)

1.17' Black rims with a chrome lip- Anyone know a good style?

2.TRD body kit- Does anybody know where I can buy these?

3.TRD muffler

4.black grill

5.clear corners

6.reverse gauges

7.shaved back emblems

Plz feel free to express ur opinions about that list and what not, thanks guys.

1. Black w/ Polished lip is a good style. Can't go wrong with those.

2. They are discontinued and I know you can find some on ebay. There was also a site, but I forgot it. This a good choice, it's my favorite kit because its so subtle and not so ricey.

3. TRD muffler is just a rebadged muffler from some other company. You can get the same muffler for a fraction of the price. The only downside is that you won't get the TRD badge.

4. Grill doesn't really bother me, but if you wanna do it go ahead.

5. Good Cheap and easy mod. It was my first one.

6. Not bad either.

7. Very cheap and easy. You may even want to do it first.

Overall, you have a pretty nice list but I feel that your order is not very good. It'd do the clear corners and debading first because they are so cheap and simple.

Also, I highly recommend suspension. Not only will it make your car more fun to drive, It will make your kit and rims look much better because you won't have that huge gap between the fender and the wheel.

I'm just trying to figure out what are some good quality clear corners that would match good with brand new dealer headlights right now

well your order should be trd kit whenever u can find it
trd exhaust is borla
id recommend the Greddy Evo Catback
If you get wheels you have to get springs and struts as well or your car is gonna look like its a monster truck
You have a decent idea. Good luck

4th Generation

thanks for the real helpful feedback guys, and yes i plan on puttin on the suspension, just need the money first that'll probably be the most priciest part . As for lowering it, how many inches should it be lowered?

It may be the priciest but its the most worth it. Its about 200 for springs and 350 for struts so a total of 550.

A kit is just for looks and doesn't look good w/o lowering. Kits typically are at least 550 and a TRD kit will probably be pricier. You then have to pay to get it painted and also if you're not doing it yourself, you probably will pay someone to install the kit. The Kit is by far the move expensive mod on your list.
