2nd Generation 17 inch rota tarmac II rims ?'s

hi i have a 90 camry dlx and i have a set of 4 rota tarmac II and they are 17inch x 7.5's with a 48mm offset i got them off of my buddys 02 subaru wrx and the problem im having is the fronts fit great but the back rub really bad in the rear so i cant put them on any suyggestions on what i can do to get these on my car im getting them for a really good price so i want them any suggestions would be helpful thanks alot

they probably arent the correct offset, you could always try spacers but thats always pretty shady.

2nd Generation

i have a set of spacers but im worried they arte too thick lol i dont remember how thick they are i dont know maybe i can get my camera to work so yall can see my issue but keep the ideas coming casue they are gonna fit weather they want to or not lol they are a 165$ a piece and im getting all 4 for that price the tires on it are 215/45 zr17's

thats almost the correct offset for a gen2... if its the tyre rupping, get some 205 section tyres... not the wheel hitting the strut is it?

215/45/17 Tyres
17x7 Rims
+45 Offset

no the wheels rub the inside of the tire well behind the tire back where the strut is i have some spacers im gonna put on later so ill let yall know if it works or not keep the ideas comin thanks alot for all ur ideas though

195/60 R15's are what i normally have on in the winter that is the normal tire size for the v6 i dont know about the 4 bangers

well i got the rear wheels on it today with some 5/16 in spacers which is shitty but aw well they dont rub real close lol but im gonna get some skinnier tires for the back so i can take the spacers out ill get some pics up of them soon so yall can tell me what you think of them

i have 195-60-15 on mine with 95 celica gt wheels and you cant put a knats ass in between the back tire and the strut, 205 tires rub, the wheel is about a half inch away

4 cyl. comes stock with 185/70/14.


For replacement:

16x7 with 205/50/16

17x7 with 205/45/17 or 215/45/17 (I forget which one is the closest to stock size).

Don't forget - the wheels should have about a +38mm offset.
