Need an amp kit

Hey guys, I am currently looking to buy a complete amp kit. I'm only going to be running 500 watts, so I think 8 or 4 gauge will be fine. Does anyone know if brand really matters here? And I would also be interested in knowing if anyone is selling one right now or if anyone knows where I can get one for a good price. Thanks a lot, I appreciate any help guys!

Stinger, Lightening Audio and Phoenix Gold all have kits that you can find at any A/V or car audio outlet. in my opinion, at this level, brand does not matter. sometimes if you buy the parts seperately you can get a set cheaper than buying a kit.

and yea... go at least 4 guage... better safe than sorry.
