whe you say disassemble the head what are you referring to
Youmean removing all of the valves and valve buckets and that type of thing.
You will ahve to remove the valve buckets but you dont have to remove the valves if you dont want to. THe only thing is if you are going to have hte cylinder head off you might as well go ahead and replace hte valve stem seals and have a valve job done in the process. You will ahve to remove the valve buckets because you are going to ahve to turn the head over on the top side to be able to clean off the old head gasket material.

You already stated the obvious about removing the intake and exhaust and all of that.

Even if you were going to remove the valves you would not do that until the head was off anyways.
At least do the valve guide seals while it is apart!

Buy the seals
Using a valve spring compressor compress the spring.
Remove keepers.
Remove springs.
Remove old seals

Reverse procedure to reinstall (use assembly lube on new seals)
Do one valve at a time.

No.

The cam bearing caps and camshafts need to be removed. Theres no way you can get to the head bolts without doing this. The headbolts are underneath the camshafts.

Make sure you keep track of the cam bearing caps. Their labeled (I1, I2, E1, E2, and so on) and only go in one spot.

Also keep track of the lifter buckets + shims and where they go. If you get them mixed up, have fun adjusting the valve lash.

I don't know what manual your reading, but download and read the one below if you haven't already done so.

Do not torque ARP head studs to whats stated in a repair manual.

The torque requirements for ARP head studs are higher then the factory headbolts. Torque requirements are listed on the back of the box (the box the ARP head studs come in).

Use a bolt stretch gauge if you have one. Otherwise use a torque wrench and the supplied moly-lube.

P.S. Why do you have 2 accounts? totalreborn and BlackPearl.

I checked the IPs, so don't try to deny it.
