I`ve never seen a Gen2 V6 without factory dual exhaust, must have be a option "over there" (usa)

Dual exhaust meaning twin pipes either side...not dual tip muffler. All stock V6 mufflers ive seen here are twin tipped.

The terminology on the subject seems a bit unclear sometimes...

Yeah i know what you mean. Put it this way.. "dual exhaust" is TWO individual pipes...either from the engine directly, or, split somewhere along the way. "Dual tipped" means a single pipe system, just with 2 "tips" on the muffler. The twin tips don't do anything at all, except for looks.

but then again....it's the same for dual exhaust.....if anything, it just causes more turbulence by spllitting up into a y pipe and mufflers- more weight as well.....

unlike a true dual exhaust

but it usually looks hot....so....who's the argue...
