Black plastic strip that goes on the sill of the trunk

Mine has gone to heaven (split in half) so I went to my dealer who wanted $62 CDN for a new one. sixty two bucks for a strip of plastic.

Is there anywhere in Canada that I can get one cheaper - I'm using duct tape at the moment which gives the car a nice Red Green touch, but....

cheers

John

Thanks, but here on Vancouver Island they are few and far between. Are there any that have a web presence?

Check out www.nix99.com, they are located north of Seattle, and only salvage Toyotas and Lexus'. I visited there when I was out there last year, very nice for those who are looking for lots of parts; even had a mint 2JZ-GTE with ECU!

trunk tirm

trust me go with the dealership part. its a different design than the origional insted of thoes stupid metal clips that hold it down they got thoes clips that hold the trunk lining on holding it down. it works wonderfully i just got mine for 15usd but thats because i have a friend that works at don jacobs toyota normal price is 30usd with clips. trust me its worth it. the old design sucks and if you get a junkyard replacement youll have the same problem.
