btw what did u do about the MAF adpater just used any old one?
the 2 fixings are for the front pcv hose return and idle air valve hose intake.
minimising the distance between the 2 components increases the ecu's ability to set the air/fuel ratio therefore much better power. the original hose peice is very flexible and long so its accuracy is questionable as the hose can crush thus changing the volume and speed of the air. this adapter makes the car much more smoother and consistant in all weather conditions. the car will now drive as if its a cold night, even if its very hot and you have the air con on.
as for price, again, go to ya local hardware store and automotive store for local pricing.
