Brake bleeder valve size

For my 1997 Lexus ES300, does anyone know the size of the "nipple" for each of the bleeder valves on each caliber? I need help determining what size clear tubing to get to assist me with a brake fluid change job I need to do on my ES300. Thanks!

I would guess that 1/4 ID tubing would be about right. That's what I use on my Camrys.

Or just spend $7 and get a one-man brake bleeder kit at AutoZone, with reservoir, tubing, and magnetic lid that holds it above the wheel you are bleeding.

God Bless

Thanks, I like the idea of the materials included in the one-man bleeder kit. This will be my first time doing this. Would pumping the brake pedal be sufficient to create the pressure needed? If so, could someone explain how many pumps I need, things to avoid, as I move from caliper to caliper.

Also, for those experienced, are the pressurized bleeder kits worth the extra money?

I gave someone else instructions on the one-man brake bleeder kit here:

Please ask if you have any other questions. I have benefited from other people's knowledge on here and owe the same.

God Bless

I tried to use aquarium tubing because it was lying around the house. It was just barely, and I mean barely too small. So, if you happen to know what size that is, the next one up.
