New here and just ordered a Camry. Some ??

I just ordered a '07 4cyl SE and should have it in about a month. I'm going to use this as my daily driver. I'm new to owning a Toyota and I was wondering if there are any particular maintenance things I should pay attention to other than normal maintenance (ei stuff that is common across all vehicles). I'm looking for info that would Toyota or Camry specific.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Really the above reply is fairly accurate you don't have to do anything if you are going to have the vehicle shop serviced. I just sold a 2003 Toyota Prado turbo diesel Landcruiser and I had a rear strut replaced under warranty(pulled trailer) and power window control on drivers side broke a plastic clip. If you chose to service and maintain your vehicle yourself this website has a great deal of information that can be found with a simple search. If you are new to Toyota you may soon realise that unless you wish to modify the vehicle you will not be getting any spanners in your hand.

Well I'd plan to do the maintenance myself as I do with all my vehicles. I tried a search before posting, but didn't find anything specific as it is hard to search when you're not exactly sure what to look for. So thought I'd post. The reason I asked was a friend has an Acura that needed the timing chain replaced at 100K as a general maintenance item and found that out the hard way.

I hope the manual will cover what maintanence is needed for each mileage.

No plans to mod this vehicle. Just don't think of a Camry in that way - hence the reason I bought it. No offense to those that do - just that I already have two vehicles that eat mod-money and respond very well to mods. Didn't need a 3rd to spend money on. Reliable Daily Driver is the goal with this one.
