I was very curious to how much of an increase in acceleration a TRD supercharger adds to a Gen3 (or other) V6. I know my stock Camry V6 Coupe runs about a 16.0 stock and a 0-60 of around 8 or more seconds. What would it run with a SC? My best guess is it would be around 230 whp, and run about a 14.5 with the auto tranny, and a 0-60 in around 6 seconds or less. Also how much more hp would you get with a larger pully, like 6 or 9 psi?
check out solaraguy.org, theyll have all the numbers. I'm s/c with stock pulley and i think 0-60 would be around 6.5~6.9 ( haven't ran it or dynoed it yet) maybe even a little lower too. As for whp I think around 200 -214 on stock pulley.

270fwhp with 7psi, larger injectors, tuned S-AFC, CAI, headers, exhaust.
13.9 @ 103. 0-60 is meaningless, as traction is an issue even with drag radials.

Holy Crap. Those are some sweet numbers.

It's not auto...

Yeah, I posted more for the increased boost numbers.
It would be nice to know what numbers guys are pushing with the higher boost on an auto trans... We know the 5spd's push great numbers, and also great to know that the setup is pretty reliable How many years have you had this setup? (I forgot)

Yeah, there seems to be a lack of auto tranny SC data. However, if we assume that MT driveline loss is 15%, and AT loss is between 20-25%, we can assume that the AT numbers @ 7 psi is around 238 to 254 fwhp.
There may be issues with the stock AT handling that power as well.
I've been boosted since summer of 2000 / 30k miles when the SC first came out, and changed out the pulley to 7 psi in spring of 2002 (forgot mileage). Mileage is at 95k now. Blew some knock sensors before I realized that injectors were being maxed out; glad nothing else blew up (knocks on wood).

What knock sensors did you use when you replaced the blown ones? Ill be using GM knock sensors on my setup. As far as the auto tranny ill just be using a big hayden tranny cooler, Redline ATF, then when i upgrade from my 6lb pulley to a higher one ill mildly build the tranny. My goal is to hit 13's on the 6lb pulley, we'll see how it goes...
Also, tiembo, do you get boost right away?
