10% all around.

I would think the more tint the better (reasonably), and it's a uniformed look.

yeah having everything tinted the same percentage looks good. i have the darkest in the back, but legal in the front. at night, you cant really tell, but during the day it looks a little off. check with the tint place to see whats legal

yeah i kno whats legal and what not. but.. just want other people's option. i wanted 5% all around but i was thinking it might be too dark. some cops are assholes sometimes. i want it dark but light.. not too light to the point that they can see me but just the shadow.

^ If you want people to see your shadow, you need something in between 20%-35%. Anything darker will get your ass pulled over by the cops left and right. I'm getting my Cam tinted next weekend, 20% all around including a bra, which is very illegal in Minnesota but I'm hoping I can get away with it.

Question: Where in Chicago did you find the tint shop at? I've been looking around Chicago for a nice place.

To see just a shadow but not be able to identify the person go with 20% all around. If you want to get 10%, you won't really be able to see a shadow or anything. I don't recommend anything lower than 20% on the rear window or the windshield, on the sides, you can go as dark as you want. I have 2% on my doors and 35% on the front and rear and fron the sides you can't see anything at all.

Oh, I guess I was kind of late. We do have laws here, I've been pulled over quite a few times. But since I do auto tint I just remove them and put them on again without paying the ticket. Anyways, be VERY careful at night while backing up at night becaus you won't see crap with 5% tint on the rear.

Tint

I've had tint on 4 of my cars. One was 35f/20 rear, one 35% all around, one 20/20 and my 4th 20/20. Just a few recommendations. 1. Get the same tint front and back. 2. Legal is too light. 3. 20% is too dark, when I back up I have to put down my windows. Based on this if I had to do it again I would either A)Get 30% front and rear or B)35% all around including the front windshield. Jon.
