ok this is really strange, I had my timing belt replaced about 3 weeks ago and I have notice that if I floor it it shifts at 5100RPM not at 6100 like it used to... did they retard the timeing by mistake or something? The strangest part is that it still ends up shifting at the same speed about 55km per hour out of first.

If I shift manually, ie. putting it in first and holding it there, I can take her up to 6100 and then when I let it shift into 2nd the car takes off like a bat out of hell.

what do yoiu guys think??

Thanx

Probably your belt was loose/slipping and was causing instable shifting and timing.I had this probelm on my accord in 1996 but then the tranny died .
