Hello to all....I am a noob here but not to auto forums. I have wasted already thousands of hours of my life on TwinTurbo.net (Nissan 300ZX)

and am ready to indulge myself to waste away here with the rest of you who find this more interesting than work.
Anyway, I am aware of search and have used it extensively over the past week to find out an issue with fuel smell and codes..... The codes that came up showed Coolant temp sensor and O2 Sensor(on back of engine). Changed them. still smell fuel but check engine light is off at least.
there is a vacuum hose protruding from a junction (maybe a sensor) next to the carbon canister that is loose and I CANNOT FIND WHERE IT GOES. I am assuming that it connects to the intake maybe??? The hose is located on the back firewall side of the junction of hoses pointing to the passenger side of the vehicle.
Is anyone familiar with the vacuum hoses in that area? How about at repair manual for the 4th gen? I am inquiring about a 97 V6 XLE.
Thanks in advance for your help and am looking forward to chillin'
