Tire size question

tomorow i'm ordering a set of Katana Concept Five wheels, i was looking into 225/40/18 tires anyone has ever had anyproblems with them rubbing? my car is lowered 1.25" if that helps

hey CamrySpeaksJL i have the same color camry im assuming yours could be a 94 LE???.....i like your grill that u put on it....im planning to change my rear signals to euros and add a bunch of stuff to my engine (the typical stuff i.e. performance spark plugs and wires...cool air intake....strut bar and i think thats it) any suggestions?

Diameter looks fine (+1.4%).

225mm is the widest you can really go without having too much problems with rubbing.

I've said on this forum MANY times. Rubbing is dependent on rim width and offset, as well as width of the tire.

Assuming that no one here is dumb enough to mount 245 tires on a 7" rim, the tire width is secondary to the correct rim width and offset.

I have 18x8s with +45 offset with no problem.
