whats your idea on the best aftermarket exhaust

i think i posted this bfore but can't find my old post so, oh wells...

well what i want is ppl's feedback on a few items that i'm interested in getting in. i want to hear ppl's thoughts and what they reccomend for the parts listed:

1)cat-back exhaust. resonably priced and best bang for the buck.
2)security system/alarm.
3)intake-CAI if possible, but if not its kewls.
4)better sound. your ideas of a nice setup.

this is all i can think of now. leave your thoughts and also include some links so i can find these parts easily, i'd appreciate it if u could save me the trouble. i appreciate any type of advice. thanks a bunch.

0ops sorry for leaving out a few details.(duh)

99 camry le b6.

budget for exhaust is 400-500ish.

security system, all i'm looking for is remoteless entry, 2-way pager, proxmity, i don't really care too much about remote start and all those other feautres if they increase the price of an alarm that much.

CAI-well i guess around 100-200ish is the most i'll spend.

so i'm looking to keep it under 1000 for sure. keep in mind i want the best bang for the buck. i don't want cheap parts, but at the same time waste my entire wallet on getting the best of the best.

thanks guys for the quick response.

4th Generation Exhaust

You can go with GReddy Evo 2 cat-back exhaust system or A'PEXi WS 2 cat-back exhaust system. The price is pending on where you go to buy your exhaust.

thanks for the links.

btw will parts meant for a solara v6 be compatible with my 99 camry b6?

i just looked at your links. now, what do you reccomend out of what you've heard or personal experience. i don't really mind comfort or sound levels. all i have in mind is the performance and efficiency.

let me know what you think. thanks.

if you want real performance put the money into your engine, the air intake and exhaust don't do that much really. They make for better throttle response but not too much real power.

i'm sorry for the misconception. my aim is not to make a hp monster. i want to keep the camry close to stock and clean. i'm not looking to make it into a race track car, just a daily driver but with a few nice mods. thanks for your thoughts anyway. i'm unsure right now if i really want to go that deep into tuning the car. i just want to take baby steps and start modding from the basics.

For the exhaust, I would go the custom route. Buy any free flow muffler like MagnaFlow and then go to a muffler shop that does mandrel bending for the piping. Since it seems like you just want the sound, just go with the free flow muffler wit stock piping.

Clifford alarms are a good choice to go.

As for the intake, I'd skip it. I'm not sure if anyone makes CAIs for the 1MZ so you might have to go the custom route.

how much would one expect to go for going the custom route in terms of exhaust? the sound is definetely something i want, but i'm also looking for that slight performance gain to. if the custom route costs close to the price of a full cat-back, i'll just go with the cat-back than.
thanks for the other suggestions to.keep posting
