seat belt got stuck in...

The rear seat. how do i remove the bottom of the rear seat? The rear seat belt got tucked in there by the old owner and i can't get it out. it's too tight to put my fingers thru. i looked at the stikied manual in this site but it only shows where it is being held, not how to unlatch it. do i have to remove the seat, or is there another way? help plz. thank you.

What year car?
On the Gen 4, the rear seat bottom just pulls out.
Feel around inder the front edge - there are two places where the seat frame has "stakes" (for lack of a better term) that go into holes in the floorpan of the car. The holes in the floorpan have clips that hold them in tight. You need to pull straight up to get them to release.

To reattach, you put the seat back, and then push down hard over the "stakes" until you feel the clips attach, or hear the click.
