Sometimes when I just unlock the driver's door I've noticed that my alarm stays armed and if I open up the door I am greeted with the very loud "friendly" sound of my car alarm saying hello. I thought it might have been the result of some electrical work I did in my car when I installed an electrochromatic mirror but I remember before installing the mirror that my car was doing the same thing from time to time when I unlocked the driver's door too.
