Divet in my windshield

Is it possible to repair a divet in my windshield? It's not cracking or spidering, so I'm wondering if it can be repaired or if the entire windshield needs replacement. It's not in my line of sight.

When sitting in normal driving position, it appears slightly below the middle of the inside mirror.

if it's not too big, and it hasn't spread, then it should be fixable if you go to a windshield repair place....should run you about $40USD per divet

Lightbulb

If the damaged area is small, you can go to Autozone and get a windshield bulls-eye repair kit.

Easy to use and cheap. The kit costs less than $15.00 IIRC.

I've used these things on two different occasions and have had good luck.

YMMV, of course!

I had one before. No problem repairing it, and it was like 2 years old.

Yeah the best you can do is to keep the crack from spreading and widening and forcing you to replace your windsheild. I fixed a bullseye crack on my 88 Nissan truck 10 yrs ago with one of these Kragen kits and the repair is still holding.
