So I successfully installed my H&R sport springs and Tokico struts, and I'm pretty sure I need an alignment. A buddy of mine said if I have them adjust the camber settings or some shit that it will handle even better than it does now. Is this true? And does this usually cost more money?
yeah you should get it aligned and yes it costs money- usually like 60 bucks at a tire place, but definately get it aligned because all of your suspension settings are probably jacked up after the swap
sorry to steal thread but..
is it normal for ur steering to be kinda effed up after swapping the front ?
cause on the high way.. the car sways back and forth.. and the steering wheel feels all loose.. it also pulls to the left..
or did this happen cause i screwed up during install ?
You should buy new tail lights before you do ANYTHING else.
lol....yeah, I agree...that looks pretty ass-like....a full tint would have been better....
and to azhyeninvasion-> no, it's not supposed to sway back and forth and have loose steering...it sounds like something is loose...I would check to make sure everything is tight, and more importantly, back on properly....though, it is common to have the car pull one way or another though- every time the suspension is touched, the alignment can be altered
and 94coupev6 -> unless you're planning on harcore tracking your car or doing autocross or something, adding uneeded camber is the stupidest idea in hte world- only civics do it because they drop their car so much that they can't fit their wheels inside their wheelwells otherwise- but then, their cars handle like shit

Thanks for the comments asshole but I wasn't asking what you thought of my tail lights, it was a suspension question...So fuck you. People like you make me not come onto TN anymore.
if you dont get an alignment after dropping your car your tire wear will also be uneven, ruining your tires. It is simply one of the nessecities of dropping your car, so dont try and cheap out and not do it cause youll end up paying way more in the end.
its perfectly normal after doing an aftermarket suspension install that the car is gonna pull either way ....and plus as well when the steering wheel is straight ....its not gonna be going straight on the road most likely, and again its gonna be going either to the left or right..
after getting an alignment, things should be ok...so be sure to get one
