Just want to clarify

I will be taking the badges off my gen 4 camry and I wanted to make sure about which ones have pegs and which ones don't

Toyota, Camry, XLE- NO PEGS
Toyota sign(little wierd thing in middle of trunk)-HAS PEGS

Is this right?
I'm just gonna take off the ones without pegs, less hassle.

Thanks

Did you try searching? Cause if you didn't, on you :P

im not sure about gen3s but for gen4s, there are no holes under the emblems.....if u hav gen4s, just use a blow dryer to melt some of the gooey adhesive off the back of the emblems and pull (direct the blow dryer at an angle, you dont wanna take any chances on messing with the paint). after pullin em off, either compound and wax or i hear there is this cream that will easier take off the adhesive.....for the toyota logo, there is an indentation so i didn't take mine off....if u take it off, you'll leave a round indentation mark....what year is ur car? hope u hav a gen4....
I'm sure if you search, you'll find more like this.

i used a blow dryer (to heat it up) and a peice of dental floss (run it behined the badge to remove), then removed the remaining adhesive with some 3M adhesive remover.... easy enough.

ryan

Is this the same for Gen 3 Camry's? The Toyota symbol does, but nothing else. What about the part that spells out C A M R Y across the back? Thanks
Ryan
