I went to the SCCA Autocross event at Route66 Speedway Joliet yesterday to watch my buddy run his Prelude and I've fallen in love with autoxing. I'd like to run my 4th gen but its bone stock and i was wondering what you guys thought. There were plenty of sedans running including a Sonata and Saturn SL2 so it wouldnt be that out of the ordinary. So what do you guys think? Can my car take it? Any comments?

You will probably want to do at least basic suspension modifications before racing your car in any kind of event.

dont let anyone talk you out of it even if your car is stock. the worst your gonna do is eat up some tires and brakes. go try it and have fun!!

if you want it bad why not ! but you will just end up killing your car ... go race with a rental

well, nothing wrong with a stock car....go take a look at the rules and see what the most you can do to your car is in the stock category
