What does a shift lock do? I have 1 the Camry (92 LE) but I don't know if it works or not. I can press the button but nothing happens so I just want to know what it do!!!

It is a safety feature. To combat the problems AUdi had in the late eighties or so with cars being put in gear without foot on the brake and doing damage to property and injuring people. __________________ Chris PLEASE DO NOT GET RID OF THE OLD TN AS WE KNOW IT.
