not all cams have DRL...usually only the higher end ones do or ones with that option added. To disable it you can remove the DRL fuse which is located in one of the fuse boxes. Check the diagrams to find which one to pull. ON our corolla with DRL's it is a sort of large fuse thing, and i'm not quite sure how to remove it but i know it can be done. Make sure to store it somewhere safe/dry.

I disabled my DRLs a while back because it sometimes has enough juice to power one of my HIDs after my retro. I didn't have a DRL fuse (or couldn't find it) but for me, I just pop open the hood and unplug the DRL connector on the passanger side.

Here's another way
This is only for 99 Camry’s, 2000 Camry’s are a little different. It does however work on 99,00 Solara
To turn off your DRL's -- you'll want to unplug the DRL resistor pack in the engine bay, located in the corner near the passenger
side firewall.
If you look in that corner about a foot down or so, there's a metal box roughly the size of a pack of gum, maybe a little bigger.
It sits on a metal bracket and is attached at a 45 degree angle to the corner. It'll probably have some kind of "don't touch" label on it since it gets pretty hot under use.

If you know where your engine diagnostics connector is, it's roughly in the same corner except closer to the firewall and further down. Unsnap the two connectors and there it goes.
The sensor on the dash controls the "auto low-beam" feature (twilight sentinel). To unplug the dash sensor, pop off the top with a small screwdriver, unplug the sensor, and put the cover back on.
You should use a zip tie or a piece of string to tie the sensor to the cap so it won't fall into the dash. That way you can re-enable it in the future if you choose to do so

Thanks for the help guys. Got the twilight sensor off the dash, and unplugged 1 of the 2 connecters to the resistor pack(only one was plugged in, the other was sitting next to it and there really didnt look like there was a place for it to be plugged in) well its alot better now that i have conrol over my lights instead of the computer, i always hated that. thanks again.
P.S. camryowner98...what headlights did you retrofit into there? ive seen s15 done and gen 4.5 projectors done, but cant figure out which ones you have. looks really nice though thanks again
