loud?? hmmm you sure all you did was slapped in the K&N flat filter? you shouldnt be able to feel any different after it, as a matter of fact you wont feel anything
how the hell would a panel filter change the sound? anyways yea damn the thing roars when you punch it seems like better throttle response but i dont know about performance really
oh so you took off your airbox then strapped a K&N cone filter on the end of your stock intake tube...i was confused from your 1st post aswell. gotta pic?
mmmm so u basically have a short short ram intake. I dunno with the intakes throttle response for me went down. The car sounds more powerful but indeed it is slower (in my case).
No pic right now..too lazy to go outside n take it. Yea i left the stock air intake tubing that leads from the front of the car to the stock intake box. removed the stock box put a cone there. working fine so far. It just really surprised me sound wise
set the ACIS to pick up vacuum from the inner most (firewall) intake plenum facing vacuuom on the tb. this opns the acis right away (notice roar at 4000rpm is a lot louder?) make it roar right away.
