Replacing the intake manifold, hoses, egr and vac sim

I need to replace all of these, i cant see where half the hoses go, to take off the manifold, do i really have to pull the engine?

No, you don't have to pull the engine to remove the intake manifold.

You can get to the nuts/bolts on the intake manifold from underneath the car. Theres no way to get to them from the top.

are jack and stands enough to get under there and get to the bolts?

^ Yes. Thats how I removed the intake manifold from a 3S-FE. 5S-FE is similar.
