VZ AFM's

Anyone ever compared the size of the 2VZFE and 3VZFE air flow meters??
I wanted to know the size difference between the two.
Im thinking that if they run basiclly the same (since there both VZ series engines) it could be used as a good upgrade for the 2VZFE.

This also begs the question of wether the 2VZ injectors would be too small for the extra airflow (if infact it is bigger). So perhaps using 3VZ or larger injectors would be a good idea, and combined with some fuel managment, would make some nice power/torque.

Just a thought.
Throw some ideas

EDIT:

Just took a look at this site: http://toysport.com/webpages/Techinf.../injectors.htm

According to that, the only difference between the two is the color (red, brown) so..would simply strapping on the 3VZ AFM onto the 2VZ work!??

with your safc retuned yes =)

connectors are the same, they both use the inverse voltage output but there may be difference which youll need to correct.

or so in theory =)

the 7M engines also use the same deallie.

All I know is we 3vz people have the largest AFM Denso makes, and it has an odd trait, the voltage goes from 5v-0v instead of 0v-5v as it is opened.
