Mine is split in half and i want to fix it, but do not know how to remove it!

Simple, like most things on the camry. All you have to do is pull up on the thick plastic that holds the part that slides in and out. This should allow the "cartridge" to keep sliding out. The other part, however, is probably bolted down or something.
