Intake Question

Sup guys? I have just recently got my cone air filter+adapter. I put it on and it makes my engine sound loader. Does anybody else have this problem or does anybody know whats wrong and how to fix it. Thanks for anybody who replys.

its natural... almost everyone who has ever installed an intake will get an increase in engine noise. dont worry about it

haha... dude thats basically wat a pod filter does... makes it sound hella louder specially at high revs... u might get a lil more performance increase but u'll def. get a louder sound

Thanks guys. It's kinda a crapy sound or at l;east it seems that way. But thanks for telling me that it's natural i have been worried all weekend about it. I was also wondering is there something i can do to deadin the sound?

well i'm not sure but my freind told me as the filter gets older or collect more dirt, it will get more quiet.. i'm not sure if thats true.. but i have my intake for over a year now and its beginning to quiet..

if the intake not hook up right that could be a reason why it sounds crappy,did you have to modified it to fit,or is str8 bolt on?and what kind

I had to but an adapter for the intake so the filter would fit. Thanks for the help guys. And hey be nice u may hurt my feelings heh
