Nah... you won't get flamed for having a gauge pod

I would get oil pressure, Oil temp, and volt(if you have a system)..... if not, get vacuum.

Why not a regular mechanical Oil Pressure gauge. It's been my experience they work better.
Do yo uhave an auto, cause a tranny Temp gauge would be good if you do.
Besides that Water Temp. I dont' think you need Oil temp. not too helpful.

yeah i have an auto, forgot to mention that... and i dont have a system, not into audio at all, but volts is always something to look into too...

its hard when i dont really know what information would actually benefit me, let alone how hard any of these are to install

Gauges

I would get an EGT and oil pressure. You can then tell if your car is ever running lean or rich by the change in the exhaust gas temperature and if you ever lose oil pressure the little red light on the dash will tell you WAY too late. Jon.

Lotek carries them, they're the same company that made them for the original group buy.

well he bought the electrical oil pressure from me and the pod thanks for the help man.
One thing i will say to compare the mech to electric.... the electric is a lot safer... i know if done right mech is just as safe but, would you rather have a wire into your cabin or a tube with hot oil in your cabin? i prefer the wire thats why i went with the eletrical.

either way, maybe tranny temp, vacuum, oil temp, air fuel, whatever your heart desires

well... if you are going to do any real performance mods on the engine - and EGT gauge is nice, keep a look at those temps so you can know that your timing is dialed in, only thing is they usually cost more, and if you are not going to use it - it is a waste of money

for fun factor - a vacuum gauge is cool - nice dial movement when you floor it, plus you can run a good amount of diagnostics with a vac. gauge

voltmeter is good if you have a system or are prone to draining your battery...

as everybody already said, oil pressure is good also...

If i were going to be NA with the tripple gauge pod - you would see me with EGT - oil pressure - vacuum

i know it doesnt matter, maybe ill need em someday for something, you never know, but yes i know, for now they are pointless pretty much. theyre just gonna sit there and look pretty, i mean thats basically all my car does anyway right

^ Oil pressure: T off the oil pressure switch on the cylinder head.

Vacuum: T off one of the hoses going to the intake manifold.

Water temp: I would drill and tap into the water neck that bolts onto the right side of cylinder head.

As for EGT, I'd rather have a wideband O2 setup.
