4th Generation Climate Control Lights..

after i brought in my car to the dealer for trouble with my alarm, my left climate control suddenly doesnt work anymore.. the "lo-med-hi" one doesnt light up until you smack it.. the other light controls work fine. anyone has similar problems? or people that changed the led's have any clues? I dont wanna bring it back to the dealership cause they might charge me..

mine does the samething. It stays dark, till I smack it. You could try changing the bulbs or it may be a loose wire. It bothered me for a while, but I found bigger things to worry about.

yah, mine's been doing that since last year when I tried changing the bulb color, but it (the bulb) wouldn't fit so I placed the old bulb back on and it started doing the same thing.

Any idea what size bulb fits? Think I used a 74 and it was too big. Changing the bulb should fix it, since I swiched the bulbs around to see if it was the bulbs' problem or the wiring and it was definately the bulb.

^Its not an LED its a #74 bulb. The bulb is a wedge bulb and the socket/bulb are poorly design so after enough miles the car's vibration will make it come loose. The same thing happened to me.
