The intake is not correct, that tube is part of your vacuum system and must be used. You can probably find a brass nipple at a local auto parts store, drill/tap the intake and put it on.

If there is another small nipple on the intake you could T off of that source as well, maybe the intake came with a T but yours got misplaced.

When the car is running and you put your finger over the end of the hose do you feel vacum? If you do you should at least plug it up until you figure out where it goes!

if youre really worried about it then get one of these:

cut one of the hoses but make sure to keep the part you cut off. take the cut off part and put it on one of the barbs on the connector you bought... and the rest is self-explanitory.

Piece of plastic or metal (usually brass) that looks like a T.

I'm not sure what that hose goes to.

With it unplugged, you have a vacuum leak though.

Another thing you can do is get a small piece of aluminum tubing. Something that'll fit tight inside the hose.

Drill a hole in the intake tube for the small piece of aluminum tubing. Use jb weld to attach the aluminum tubing to the intake tube.

Let the jb weld dry, then plug that vacuum hose onto it.

hmmmmm that's weird. On my Weapon R intake. i have an extra line too. There are 4 small lines on the stock but they provide a T which covers 3 out of the 4. Seems to work fine?

LOL hey dude seriously dont worry about that sucker. Ive zip tied it off and there has been no problems with it. Some people experience a check engine light about a week after installation, but can reset it with disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes. I have run this setup for almost 6 months, and have never experienced a problem. I even switch back and forth between this aftermarket and stock intake. Never an issue.

Just be aware that the intake you're sporting is illegal in most states because it doesnt have a Carb sticker on it like some more expensive brands do...ie. Weapon R / AEM. Also it will not pass the visual on the smog check so be sure to have your stock box on when you get a smog and use this intake at your own risk.

This was my original original setup...ive changed it a bit since.

note the ziptied tube.

here are some more recent shots.
