Would it be safe using LEDs on all the rear signal markers and brake lights and everything? Or would it find LEDs drawing too little power and make the signal lights blink fast like I've seen in many cars. Any problem with using LED in all the bulb housings?

Most drop in LED bulbs are NOT DOT approved and made in China. They are not bright enough and have poor viewing angles. I wouldn't suggest them for brake lights unless you enjoy being rear ended.
Oh, are they any DOT-approved LEDs out there? I've heard Sylvania is making some, but haven't seen them yet.
Is it a better idea to use a amber LED in the turn signal housings, or a red LED in red sidemarker housings? I heard if you have a white LED it wouldn't look too good in those.

Yea alot of LED bulbs have poor veiwing angles. For example some I bought if u aren't in a str8 line w/ them u won't see 'em good. So they were no good in my Camry since the bulbs point to the top of taillight.
not bright enough. I tried to get an 18 led bulb to fit inside but it didnt work for the oem housing. You would need a lot of LED's unless you cleared out your lenses.
Also they will cause the rear tailight blown signal on your dash as well as the fast blinker if you install it on a turn signal light.
I didn't get any turn signal or brake light ones, just backup light, tail light, and sidemarker lights. I'll take before and after pictures to see if there's a good difference.

It was recommended that you shouldn't use LEDs on signal flashers, mainly because it'll read it as a burnt out bulb and it'll flash really fast. Unless you get some sort of resistor, you rather stay with a regular bulb.
I'm planning to get the Sylvania Silverstar Signals for the front, 1157AST for amber and 1157ST for white I think.

I installed some on my 99 and they blew the circuit on my brake light warning sensor. I put some resistors in it but have yet totry it because I need somemore fuses, and am scared it will blow the cicuit again.
