The 2.5L motor in that car is the 2MZ-FE. A smaller displacement version of the 1MZ-FE that was never released stateside, just like the 1VZ-FE of the older gen. Camry.

the 1VZ (2.0L) was unofficially the replacement for the 2VZ, when it came to people getting rebuilt engines, as their was a lack of the 2VZ.

The front of the car looks like it came from the Curren.
