Intake question

Hi, Im new to this site though i have been viewing threads before my membership. I live out in Queens, NY and i owe a 1996 Camy 4 Cylinder. So far I have made one mod to my vehicle that has already made me fear my car. I added a cold air intake and i can already tell the difference. I need some help in possibly perfecting the system. I removed the old filter and added a new intake with one chrome pipe. i need to buy more chrome pipes and modify them to fit the vehicle. So far, has anyone had any experience with an intake in a 4 cylinder Camry? i know i need to make some modifications to properly connect all the feeds into and out of the intake but what specifically can i do or should do? any help would be appreciated.

Exactly what are you trying to do? You said you added a cold air intake? Or a short ram? In any case you would only benefit mid and high end from the intake. A picture of your engine bay would help to explain more.

I will try and get a pic of my engine bay but please forgive me cuz its extremely dirty. hoping to get my engine cleaned if at all possible. i have a cold air intake and i was wondering about the air flow mass sensor. someone sent me a link which explains that i have no use for it now so im hoping to get that removed and complete my intake mod. any other mods you might suggest besides an exhaust which im hopin to get done this weekend?

Well when I made my cai I left out all of my sensors so that there was no restriction at all and it was straight pure flow. It ran really well. I sold my first prototype to a member of this forum and he told me he ran 1 second faster in the quarter mile with just intake at the track. So it has proven to be very good. Well it also depends how the setup is as well. How many bends, angle, etc.
