engine and trans swap

I have a 95 camry 4 cyl auto with a bad trans. I have a 92 that is wrecked with a lower mileage engine and good trans. Does anyone know of any potential problems with this swap. I have seen some documentation to the effect that there is a governor on the trans that was electronic on the earlier unit but mechanical on the later version. Does anyone know what that is all about. All advice appreciated.

everything swaps fine. its all the same except the wiring... you will have to use the wiring off of the 95 motor and swap that onto the 92 engine. you should also replace the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and any other easy to do stuff while the motor is out of the car. it is much more convienient.

Thanks ZONI, I kinda figured on the belt and pump. Is pretty easy when its out. Wiring looks similar but I'm sure Toyota wouldn't make it that easy. I guess I'll just have to get after it.
