Heres the list of custom mods this time!!

1. Top and bottom eyelids for the tail lights.
2. Black out corner lights.
3. Cleaned and black ceramic coated Valve Cover.
4. Cleaned and black ceramic coated 3sgte manifold and exhaust housing

Hope you guys like it this time more than my last my last custom mod hehe




This is while the paint was still wet.

And this is after i let it dry then baked it at 400 degrees for 30 minutes then took it right out and put it oustide where it was cold. It make the ceramic coating stronger and hard






Dont have any pics of the the new stuff on the car yet since it got dark outside.But im going to reinstall the stuff now..and take some tomorrow...ill keep you guys updated...hope u guys liked it

dont forget to critique it as hard as you guys did before...i actually liked the critiqueing...gave me motivation to do better lol..and for those who remember my retrofit...im still deciding on what to do with the high beams...so give me time for that...as for the turbo setup...waiting on the greddy emanage to coming in with the harness and stuff...but that will go on soon also...thanks

nuts, and here i thought i was the only gen 3 with blacked out corner lights. But it's looking good.

its going to bubble and flake off of that manifold... you didnt bake it the right way... did you read the instructions on the can? 30 min at 200, cool, 30 min at 400, cool, 30 min at 600, cool.

well it jsut sez either at 200 for 3 hours or 400 for 1.5 hours thats it...so i just did the 400 at 30 mintues...to expand and dry the paint..then placed it in the cold so the molecules would bunch up real close making the paint harden the same way if you baked it for 1.5 and left it to cool at room temp

How did you do the taillight lids look slick...paint? vinal?

Now my question is, with the corner lights, does it still light up the same way IF you use a organge colored bulb?

dupli color lacquer black paint and a acrylic laquer clear coat

they light up pretty much the same...the blacked out ones actually made it easier to see them in the day...and at night u cant tell the difference
