4th Generation v6 strut tower bar

Sorry if this has been asked but i could not find anything, and there are too many threads to look through them all.

Is there a strut tower bar for a gen4 v6? can I use the same one for the 4 cyclinder? most of the ones i have seen state that they are only for the 4 cylinder.

if so, do whiteline make one for the v6 or is the another brand that you guys recommend?

cheers

There's no difference between the one for the I4 and the V6 Camry unless your car is supercharged

I thought the Chassis codes are different. (SVC20 vs. MCV20?)

Aust: i installed a Strut bar about 2 weeks ago, while i like the performance, it does hit a piece of my intake manifold. im sure the SC'd 1MZ will clear it since they have a TRD br, but meing a stock 1MZ, it hits my intake.

I ordered a Solara Strut bar, they are the same chassis code as we are (MCV20)
i ordered it from "XS-Engineering.com" for around $150. its polished, and looks good.

I went through the same problems when searching for my strut bar

Just hope i helped u out.

dont buy from eBay! they're just for style not performance

from what i know, my friend got a V6 camry installed those eBay strut bar and he can hear some knocking when turning hard.

in my opinion, just save the $$$ and buy something else. Or Buy the Sportivo GEN 5 Sturt Bar From Toyota, they will fit on the GEN 4. or your last resort would be WHITELINE.
