3rd Generation Possible to repair leather seats?

My front leather seats are cracked with big rips forming. Is there a way to repair or restore them? Has anyone here repaired their leather seats before? It looks really ugly and ghetto damnit. Thanks.

If its ripped, they are done. go get new covers. Maybe someone here can give you a lead on getting replacement skin. Hint, don't get fake leather.

If they are just weathered, (cracks, faded) you may be able to get them refinished.

idea is to re-dye the seats before they crack, it they crack then your needing new seatcovers.

How much do they run ballpark wise?

I am thinking of resurfacing them with new leather. Just wondering if anyone has did this and how much do it run?

Thanks all.

^^ dude there is no resurfacing. Its called re-dying. I've sat in a LS400 (early 90's model) whos front seats were re-dyed. The look was awesome, OEM Stock like, so was the feel and touch. But when i ran my hands on the front side and then on the rear seats, i did note that the rears were more softer to touch. You have small creases/lines then by all means re-dye your seats and ensure your using oil's for reconditioning using oil on regular intervals. I condition my seats at least 3-4 times a year myself. Tthere are cleaners and reconditioners, don't confuse the two. Clean first and then follow by conditioning them. I use something with aloe-oil (spelling??). But if your seats are already cracked and ripped, then they are beyond repair. In that case, get new leather-covers and get a professional to install them (some ebay sellers do not sell the U needles needed to install leather seats, installers have them..don't attempt to install yourself if you don't have the right needle).
