Hey all

Just a quick question, i have a manual and when shifting up in particular i get a sort of jolt, rough change. BTW :P its not me, i can drive other manuals just fine. Althought the camry is much nicer manual lol. Anyways i'm thinking maybe tranny mount?

Possibly the syncronisers for the gear your upshifting to are badly worn, this would equate to rough shifts &/or crunching during shifts. If so it's far cheaper to get another S51 from a wrecker. If your good on the tools you can change the box yourself in 1/2 a day to a full day if you wana take it slow. (Remembering to replace clutch if you pull out the box).
