electrical [roblem, help ...

Hi,

I own a 06 solara 4 cyl, and solara forum has been slow so I guess people in here might be able to help me. My solara has been doing funky things, started out last week (2500 miles). The outside temp LCD showed blank (no numbers) and after I restarted the car twice, it came back on so I thought it was just something that happened once in the blue moon.

Yesterday I got the oil changed (3K miles) and the temp gauge did not come back to C (it always sit at C mark when I turn off the car) when I shut the engine down so when I restarted it, it showed that the engine temp is near H (slightly below red zone) while the car was not overheating (both cooling fan were not working and I could put my hand on the radiator hose and cap). I took the negative side of the battery for 5 minutes and everything was back to normal (gauge showed the temp is in between C and H like it suppose).
Also I drove to get some food (drive through) and I lost the auto up and down features on my power windows but the windows are still working (only no auto up or down). Restated the car twice and everything was back to normal.

Anyone in here can tell me whats wrong with this car ? So far I have been back for warranty claim twice (front dah rattle and cracked rear deck), and hoping Toyota Quality can hold up good in the long run
