Going crazy help me!!!!!
Alright, I bought an Apexi ITC to allow me to retard timing under boost. But wiring it in is proving to be very very difficult. I will send $50 to the first person who can tell me how to wire this up and have it work. Basically the unit intercepts the crank and cam position sensors, modifies their signal, and sends it to the ECU. I tapped the power and ground in correctly, now I just need to kook up the cam and crank wires. All the Toyotas shown in the manual say set all dip switches up and set car select to 0. I did. Next I discovered that in my wiring diagram I have three signals to the ECU concerning these two sensors. NE- , NE+ , and G+ . There is no G1, or G2 which the manual always refers to. The best I managed was getting the car to rough idle for a few seconds then die. If anyone can help me figure this out they will get $50. Mabe that will entice someone to speak up, thanks in advance!
