I was wondering if anyone has looked into a turbo manifold for the 3sgte, rather than using a stock one. I read somewhere they're reliable to do job for the ct26 and then some (useful up to approx 400hp) and I plan on putting more than that. Anyone know of any reliable and reputable companies that produce headers for the 3sgte (5sfe)?? Yes I looked on all sorts of online stores, but as implied, I don't know if any are known to good or bad, as everyone has said 'use a stock 3sgte manifold'.
Full-Race makes a very good manifold for the genII 3s-gte... but its for the MR2 application and will hit the hood on a Camry. You're only decent option is custom from what I have seen.

^I heard the same thing. The reason why I was asking because stock is no good for the power I plan to put out. Or atleast it'll be restrictive at that point
Come on you turbo guys, I'm sure ppl have tried in trial and error
I already gave you an answer. I'm sorry its not the anwer you wanted. I know the Full Race manifold doesn't fit - it was tried on Wraith's car - and he ended up going custom.
Since it sounds like everything is pretty much going to be custom on your car anyway, what's a custom manifold going to add?

Well I was hoping more than just one person would know something, esp. I saw you owned a 90 which obviously has difference in space and so on. Now Wraith did mention he went custom over the phone, but $1800 is too much for me right now, for a manifold at that. I was hoping to have a non restrictive manifold that leaves me room to upgrade to a GT40 or bigger with ease (from what I was going to run) and still not be very restricted

I don't get what your planning to do based on your questions...
Are you planning on running the stock 3S-GTE manifold w/ CT26?
Or are you planning to get a custom tubular manifold w/ CT26?
Or are you planning on getting a custom manifold with GT40 or bigger?
If you have the manifold made for a CT-26, then you can't "upgrade" to a GT40 or bigger. Different turbine flanges.
In my opinion, the stock 3S-GTE manifold can achieve your goals in terms of flow... The biggest restriction in a turbo setup is the turbocharger itself and a restrictive manifold is very less likely to be a bottle neck.. As long as the turbo you are using can flow enough exhaust out (via larger turbine wheels and housing), it's going to make power.
My real suggestion to you is to do a lot more research on turbos and variety of setups before planning on getting any custom stuff done unless you have a dependable shop that going to guide you along the way

Tony, I planned on running a GT3076R (.63 A/R) with the twin entry V-band for the STOCK 3sgte manifold, but then I read that when putting out this much power, its suggested, but not necessary, to be changed. That's when I decided to look into it
SFP makes a 3s manifold... they pop up on eBay every now and then - and they have external WG flanges... I think they are somewhere around $500-600, and i have not known anybody running an SFP manifold on the 3s, but i have some turbo honda/acura buddies that have them and they like them, one with a t3 and one a t3/t4
Also the full race mani is a pretty sick one... just costs, but if you really want the crazy amounts of horsepower you are talking about i would consider it... you would just have to verify the fitment or cut up the hood for a scoop...
IHMO I think the stock 3s manifold is pretty good and will support all of the horsepower you are going to get out of your 5s, even fully built... my next manifold on my car will be a custom one from www.speed-source.net because carl does the best toyota work i have ever seen, and especially 3s work
