4th Generation Gen-4 Grille Question!

Hey guys, new to the board here. I've been here for quite some time now, but recently just signed up.

Anyway, my question is.. ebay is selling the universal mesh grilles, and i was just wondering, for the 98 camry, is it even possible to put a mesh grille in there? I bought it to a place hoping they could do it, but they said that the stock grille is connected to the front bumper. I know thats true, but isn't it possible to just remove the grille and put the mesh grille in there? I'm asking this because I've seen camry's without body kits that are able to do it. If its possible, can anyone give me a place in the LA area that can help me put it on?

Thanks for any help that I can get!

^^ Search.
To answer your question: you would need to remove your bumper and cut out the section for the grill. Then you would need to custom make a grill and mesh and attach that to your bumper. Its possible with $$, But for the money involved...i'd just get some good grub!!

all you need to do is get a Dremmel tool. Get a sanding disc, and cut the grill out. Then, with mine i went and got .50 cent gutter guard mesh, put 3 layers of black spraypaint on it, 3 layers of anti-rust black spray paint, and then a clear coat. cut it out to size, and just screw it into the bumper.

I did it for the one uinder it too, but that ones alot harder. went through 2 sanding discs because im too cheap to buy the diamond tipped cutter. good luck

^^ that will definitely be the cheapest and faster option =D Then buy a toyota badge and stick it on it =) The only thing that will be different compared to a toyota made one is that the grill is finished around the edges.
