New Car Questions

I currently drive a 2005 Chevy Malibu 32000 miles, with a 3.5 V-6. This is my company car; I pay $175 a month for the car, gas, maintenance, and insurance. While it is a great deal for $175 a month, I really hate the car. The car gets great mileage, 28 mpg overall the whole time that I have owned it. The seats are ok, not great. The dash and interior is super cheap, the car handles worse each and every day. At 75,000 miles, they will replace it with another car of their choosing. At that time I can opt out of the company car deal and instead get a $450 monthly car allowance. They also will pay for miles over 200 a week. I will have to pay for the car, the insurance, the gas and the maintenance. I have put a pencil to it and it appears that I would make $100 to $200 if I can keep the cost of the car down and I keep the car 4 years or 160,000 miles.

I think that I will be in the market sometime in the fall of 07, so I have plenty of time to research.

Here are the things that I want in a car, Navigation, Premium Sound, Bluetooth, 4 door, Automatic, Air, Leather, Power Windows, Locks Mirrors and Seat. The car has to be very reliable. Mileage is important, so I think that I should really consider the 4 bangers.

Cars that are on my list:

Acura TSX with Navigation comes loaded with Bluetooth and everything that I want, I think we will see a new TSX in the fall of 07.

Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation comes loaded with Bluetooth and everything that I want. I think that we will see a new Accord in the fall of 07.

Toyota Camry XLE, with Navigation comes loaded with Bluetooth and everything that I want.

Toyota Avalon Touring, I know that this is a V-6 but if the mpg is good enough perhaps I could justify the extra cost for a large car that rides great?

I LOVE the new Camry. Does the XLE 4 banger have enough power? I drive 90% on the highway, what kind of mileage do you get, Is the 4 banger that much better than the V6 in mileage?

I have a 05 Camry 4-cyl...they use the same 4-cyl in the 07 but it has like 7 more hp.. and power isn't a big issue all. though the 0-60 time is almost cut in half with the v6. And the v6 Camry is supposed too get around 29 mpg......my 4 -cyl Camry is only getting 24 mpg.......But i am a very hard driver i go on the highway allot and Flore the shit out of the car every chance i get....and i am amazed at the acceleration of my 4-cyl.... in the long run it Toyota is a really reliable car and it will blow your Malibu away in every way.
