so i needed some seatbelts, as i've been riding solo for the past few weeks with no saftey belts, but i needed my sparco 4-points to get in first, so in the meantime while i was waiting i decided to fabricate a harness bar. it connects to the stock top seatbelt holes, i had to get a bit creative with it so i didn't have to do any cutting to my interior panels, but if anyone needs a harness bar than you can check these pics out and EASILY make one, i went down to our machine shop here, and told them the parts i needed, then i brought 'em all home and got to work. total cost = $50 took about 2 hours, minus sanding and paint.
also i have a "scepter" decal on the way aswell that im going to stick on it.
^you can see here the spacers i had to weld on to fit inside those bolt holes in my door panels, puuurfect fit now, like a glove. also i had to slightly bend each tab to fit the angle of the cars frame, and also grind out a small groove in the spacers for the bolts to fit nice and snug, those of which you can see in the below pic. also rounded the edges off aswell, so it fit the welds well.
^ready for painting, got some chrome paint, and got it looking gooood! after letting it dry, i wet-sanded it, and applied some more coats
^not a great view, but you can see those spacers clear it perfectly, so i don't get any damage to my panels.
just recently i've converted back to my stock wheels, cause im going out of town, and i don't need all the unneccesary wear on the OZ's, anyway, it's hard to get a good pic without all the glare.
