I ordered a few LED bulbs from ebay and some websites, tried to have a cheaper improvement in lights. As many know, LEDs draw less power and is supposed to last longer as well. Except they aren't recommended in turn signals because they draw less power, and it'll cause the turn signal to flash faster.
My experiences:
Stop Brake Light - Don't do it, a sharper color, but not as bright as stock.
Back Up Light - Not nearly as bright as stock, it has a dim Xenon White color.
Tail Light - Not a huge improvement, almost the same brightness, but a bit sharper red color.
Rear Sidemarker - Not too noticeable, just a sharper red color again.
Interior Dome and Map lights - A pretty big improvement, highly recommended if you like the Xenon White, Blue, Red, or whatever color of your choice on the inside. Looks almost as bright as stock, but the color makes it all the cooler.
Trunk Light - Probably not too recommended unless you find a LED bulb that spreads the light out at a wider angle, it's too concentrated in a circle.
Glove Box - Couldn't change it, I'll have to remove the glove box, probably will do it later.
Front turn signal - Will buy Syvlania 1157AST eventually for it.
That's about all the possible lights to change out in a Gen4 Camry, except for instrument cluster and dash lights. I'll probably show pictures of the interior lights, because the exterior lights didn't show a huge improvement at all.

next time go to an electornics store and buy 6 or 12 volt LEDs with MASSIVE MCD output (they are 10-20mm in diameter), not those little 3 volt clusters =) and retro them in ^^

Couldn't find a good camera, pictures are a bit bad because of dark photos.
Left bulbs are all LEDs, right bulbs are all stock. Well in the picture with the reverse light on, the left bulb is stock too, just that its newer, so its a bit brighter.

iunno about the trunk light bro. but thumbs up for everything else. nice work
for the trunk light, u could get a led straight array and double side tape it up there somewhere that way it won't be a spot. if u don't do it right, it'll be a strip of light so maybe but the leds in some kinda tube to spread the light. just an idea. or u could get a cold cathode from ebay =D

I meant that left brake light as stock. It's just a new housing that got replaced, so the bulb itself looks a bit brighter. I tried the LED on the brake light, it was a 3157 25-LED Red bulb from www.superbrightleds.com, it was really dim, much dimmer then stock.
Yeah, I'll probably need a cathode tube for the trunk, the little LED bulb isn't that great in it.

I have done the same thing (pretty much) and this is my conclusion.
For the fron and rear turn and brake....use LED bulbs that throw light to the side. They lookl like a tower and have 5-8 on top and 15-20 on the sides.
For the trunk anyone who has done it here will tell you that a cheap CCFL set for less than 10$ is SOOOOOOOOOOOO much brighter and is an extremely easy mod. I even did it withough cutting any wires.
The license plate and reverse lights use the flux refractor 5 LED bulbs that I have used in the dash (white, so did leasaunce i think) and Snakeyes has too (red) They are not quite as bright but last long and have better color.
For the reverse, I want to find a easy/non reversable way to put 1156 or 3156 bulbs in there. Also clearing the lense would possible be good. (Any one do that?)
Reading and dome lights are an easy swap but I found that even the 9led ones off of Ebay were lot bright enough for me. I have 2 9led bulbs in the dome and I am sure I can fit 3 or more 9led ones in the map. I also put a 9led in the vanity lights but I need to do some dremmeling (its a verb right?) to get it in (and I broke the screw threads on the visor itself so be carefull taking it off)
I am using a cheap 1led bulb for the rear markers and 2 red 5led flux refractors for the running lights.
Yep, that's the same ebay guy I order my LEDs from.
The front map light is 44mm, and rear courtesy/dome light is 31mm. I got 9LEDs for both 44mm and 31mm.
Using LEDs on the brake light casuses the brake sensor to light up on the dash, and I think using LEDs on turn signals would cause the flashers to flash really fast. I may consider looking around for the "tower" brake LEDs like you stated, but might not want to mess with the turn signals unless I find a resistor for it. Might be a better idea to just stick with Sylvania 1157AST for signals.
What's a CCFL set? Is it a cathode tube set? Any recommendations on what kind to get on ebay or a website? And how would you hook up a cathode tube set?

I like the turn signals flashing fast but I do not like the noise (no matter how fast) how can I get rid of that? Are there relays that you can adjust the speed but are silent? Can put some sound deadening shit around it or is that hazardous?
My brake light warning does not light up. Something is up with yours...which LEDs did you use?
Would that be easy to install on a car's trunk? I'm not quite sure how to wire that for it to work. I would like something sound activated that can follow the beat to music.

Yeah, I just thought about it and white seems plain, I'll probably go blue.
Try removing the dome light with a flathead screwdriver, but be careful to try not to scratch the plastic around it. Just measure the length of the bulb down to the milimeter and your set.
